Indeed, many people go mushrooming and their kitchens are full of delicious mushroom recipes.
In autumn mushrooms appear in the hilly areas and are easily found in the countryside. Some of them live in symbiosis with plants: Armillaria Mellea with olives; Lactarius Vinosus and Boletus granulatus with pines.
Anyway, they end up in the same pot :)

It made me smile to read this post because it reminded me of how when I was a child, I was forced to eat mushrooms. My mother always wanted to elevate our palette and so she would bring home vegetables that she, as an adult, enjoyed but that my sisters and I hated. I'm happy to report that now as an adult I'm quite the lover of portabello mushrooms so I guess mothers do know best!
RispondiEliminaHello, Bella. We are all protagonists of similar stories, I believe. As children we used to avoid eating certain foods and the mothers had the thankless task of teaching us how to accept the unacceptable...
RispondiEliminaLong live the moms!
I'm glad that you appreciate mushrooms; I find them delicious!
